Astrology News: Pluto is now in Capricorn
Pluto is the smallest and most outer planet in our solar system so it might seem unimportant and innocuous, but it is actually one of the powerful and most important energies in astrology.
Being that Pluto is at the outer edge of the solar system, it is a very slow moving planet, and takes 248 years for it to complete it's orbit. In astrological terms, the less often an astrological event occurs, the greater it's impact.
Astrologers around the world prophesied on what Pluto in Capricorn might mean. Though there were inevitable discretions on the details, there was unanimous agreement that this event would bring about massive change, financial upheaval and the death and rebirth of establishments.
On January 22nd - the exact day Pluto moved into Capricorn - the world stock markets collapsed.
As the death/rebirth Plutonian energy gets stronger, current establishments (Capricorn) are going to seek to protect themselves. As Pluto gets further into Capricorn, we're going to expect to see a much greater level of paranoia in the government. Domestic surveillance is going to hit unprecedented levels, and the dying system is going to seek to protect itself by imprisoning those who oppose it.
But there is good news. The last time Pluto was in it's current position was the 1760's, when people in America started circulating information about individual liberty and personal freedom. History is repeating itself, and the internet is providing the means for this to happen.
As Governments seek to squeeze civil liberties and further subdue their population, people will rise up and oppose them. We saw this shortly after Pluto entered Capricorn the last time, with the Boston Tea Party. Pluto is death and rebirth. Last time it was in Capricorn - sign of authority, organization and of organizations - there was the first truly successful revolt against an empire: The American Revolution.
Already in America, the constitution set up by the founding fathers to protect the liberty of it's people from a tyrannical government has been shot to pieces. It is now possible for police - without a warrant! - to spy on you, break into your home, arrest you, and hold you indefinitely in jail without trial- if they suspect you of being a "terrorist." And it just so happens that anyone who opposes the current establishment and seeks to overthrow them can be a terrorist. It is said that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter, and we will likely begin to see this more clearly in in the approaching years to come.
